-
- A lot of people believe that because it's most likely true. Hardly any of
- the general computer publications such as Byte even mention the Amiga.
- The biggest computer story of '95 and none of them even touched it.
-
- I personally believe that it's because none of the Amiga related companies
- put ads in them. Microsoft and other clone related companies buys a lot of
- ads so they get a bunch of coverage, Apple buys ad space and they get
- coverage, C= didn't and now AT doesn't so no coverage. I don't care what
- people at the publications say, that is the only explaination that seems
- to explain it. If it's not true then were are the articles on the Rise
- and Fall of Commodore, How not to run a company, The Demise and Rebirth
- of the Amiga, Escom: A New Hope, and the general buyout and tech articles?
- Until I see some quality articles, I'm going to continue to believe it.
-
- Have you ever noticed how many times the media says that a feature or device
- that is new to clones or the Mac is new and inovative when it's just a
- rip off of something that's been on the Amiga for years?
-
-
- : Would there be any way to document this?
-
- Other than the lack of coverage by the media and the bad mouthing the
- Amiga has received by various publications in the past, no. It's hard to
- document when they are just avoiding the Amiga.
-
-
- : If so, could we get this out to the general public?
-
- How? When the media in this country think that Bill Gates is god and
- Microsoft is his church. The only reason Apple can get any coverage is
- because they buy ad space.
